Object of the association

The Association’s objects, to the exclusion of any business activity, are to further the development and to promote, by all relevant means, Exchange-listed derivatives on French or foreign markets.

These objects include :

• The representation and protection of rights as well as collective and individual non pecuniary and pecuniary interests of Members and of companies that they control or which control them (within the meaning of Article L 233-3 of the French Commercial Code (Code de Commerce)), in the field of derivatives listed on a regulated or non-regulated market or on a multilateral trading platform (i.e.financial instruments indexed on the performance of an underlying asset, which includes but is not limited to warrants, certificates or EMTN), in particular with the authorities and any French or foreign professional organisations.
• Defining and publicising the positions, proposals, opinions or concerns of its Members with regard to the authorities within the broadest meaning thereof of the term and all organisations, bodies or authorities acting as standard setting bodies or exercising an impact in the economic and financial field in France and abroad.
• Furthering the reputation of derivatives as well as that of its Members.
• Reviewing any matter of collective interest.
• Elaborating any recommendation in any form whatsoever and defining, where applicable, codes of best practices.
• Informing Members.
